BOYCOTT stylos REYNOLDS Cette année 2007 a vu la fermeture de l’usine fabriquant les stylos Reynolds, à Valence, dans la Drôme. Cette décision de délocaliser la production vers la Chine, la Tunisie et l’Italie a fait perdre leur emploi à plus de 250 salariés. Contrairement à ce qu’espérait le groupe Newell Rubbermaid en décidant cette fermeture et conformément à ce qu’avaient prévu les salariés, cette délocalisation est une catastrophe humaine, sociale et économique (pour le groupe aussi). En voulant dégager quelques millions d’euros de ressources, le multinationale américaine Newell-Rubbermaid a perdu, à cause de cette délocalisation sauvage, plus de 20 millions d’euros sur l’activité de Reynolds. Cette délocalisation, comme beaucoup d’autres, n’aura servi à rien d’autre qu’à semer le désastre sur Valence et ses environs. Pour cela, le collectif appelle au boycott de la marque Reynolds mais aussi des autres marques de la multinationale Newell-Rubbermaid.
